EXTERIOR
Boston Framers renovated this 150-year-old two-family house, into three luxury condominiums in Cambridge Massachusetts.
The historical house was updated while maintaining the style of Cambridge’s historical charm.
The beautiful Victorian-era design showcases intricate details, from ornate trim work to beautiful bay windows.
TimberTech front stairs and railings lead to 4-panel front doors under a bracket portico. Sidelights and decorative glass provide natural light and privacy.
Pella black-framed windows add elegance and complement the historical exterior façade and the interior modern design.
The clapboard siding was replaced with cement board, which is fire-resistant, low-maintenance, and stands up to harsh weather.
Boston Framers dug four feet down under the foundation to create a basement with plenty of storage space.
The roof was raised to add a third living space complete with bay windows.
In keeping with Cambridge’s historical architecture, the new French roof is complete with dormer windows, asphalt shingles, and a flat rubber roof.
Each unit has an electronic security entry.

RELAXING PATIO
The backyard was transformed into a tranquil outdoor retreat in the heart of the city.
The patio design incorporated elements such as stone pavers, TimberTech decking, vibrant landscaping, and cedar privacy fencing.
This created a beautiful private space to relax or entertain.
Two bulkheads lead to a spacious basement with plenty of storage.
OPEN FLOOR PLAN
The interior design seamlessly blends the old with the new.
Modern amenities have been tastefully incorporated into each of the three units including updated kitchens, touchless appliances, contemporary bathrooms, central heating, and cooling systems.
The open floor plan and high ceilings maximize space and flow.
Oversized windows allow natural light to fill every space.
Each element, such as the black hardware used throughout the house, was carefully chosen to create living areas that are both visually stunning and highly functional.
The lighting is designed to accentuate every feature of each room.
Combinations of linear chandeliers, lighted mirrors, and strategically placed recessed lights work together to provide ambient, task, and accent lighting.
MODERN KITCHEN
Every detail in the kitchen design was carefully considered including the seamless integration with the open floor plan.
The modern kitchen offers clean lines and a clutter-free style.
The use of premium materials, such as white oak hardwood flooring, quartz countertops, maple cabinets, panels to hide appliances, and top of the line Wolf appliances, creates an atmosphere that enhances the overall appeal.
The kitchen is optimized for functionality with touchless faucet and microwave.
Handleless cabinets and drawers provide storage while maintaining a streamlined look.
LUXURIOUS BATHROOMS
Each bathroom design
is sleek and contemporary with a thoughtful layout that combines beauty and function.
Premium materials were carefully selected:
- Duravit vessel sinks,
- quartz counters
- handheld showerheads,
- spa-like rain showerheads,
- built-in shower seat,
